What are the types of printing materials? What’s the difference between them

The printing of luggage is generally divided into silk screen printing,
heat transfer printing and cutting printing.

·Silk screen printing

Silk screen printing is made of a kind of screen material. After
printing, the surface spacer of the screen material in the drawing part is
removed and made into a hollowed out state. Retaining the screen in the
hollowed out part can ensure the leakage of ink. Then fix the wrapping sheet on
the shelf, and the screen printer will brush it with the ink of the required
color. During printing, the ink will be transferred to the substrate through
the mesh of the picture and text part through the extrusion of the scraper to
form the same picture and text as the original.

Screen printing mainly has the advantages of low price, large batch,
bright color, fast delivery, long storage life and so on. Now it has been
recognized by more and more industries and is relatively widely used. For the
circuit board of household appliances, in T-shirts, patterns, cultural shirts,
patterns, refrigerators, televisions, ceramics, glass and decoration; Many
commercial advertising platforms, such as packaging, fixed, mobile and electrical
appliances, have strong adaptability, strong three-dimensional sense,
relatively strong light resistance and large printing area.

Silk screen printing equipment is simple, easy to operate, simple
printing and plate making, low cost and strong adaptability. It is suitable for
large-scale printing, with good printing effect and low price. It is a very
cost-effective one in the current bag printing process.

·Heat transfer printing

Heat transfer printing is to use ink color spraying equipment to spray
the required graphics on the special material with film. Then, after automatic
engraving, each picture piece is transferred and bonded to the surface of the
bag or the surface of the bag material piece by manual and tile heating. This
heat transfer printing method is more suitable for color patterns, and the
printing effect is beautiful and three-dimensional.

Heat transfer printing is now a new process printing technology in
China. Facing the introduction of foreign countries, it takes no more than 10
years. This process printing method can be mainly divided into two parts:
transfer processing and transfer film printing. One of the main methods of
transfer film printing is dot printing, and the patterns can be pre printed and
engraved on the film surface. In terms of printed patterns, the colors are
bright, the layers are rich, and changeable, the color difference is relatively
small, and the reproducibility is good, which can meet the effect and
requirements of the designer, It is very suitable for mass production and use.

·Cut print

There are two kinds of cutting printing. One is to cut the cutting
pieces of bags first, and then put them on the machine one by one for printing.
The disadvantages are high labor cost, slow efficiency and high price.

The other is to set up the printing pattern on the computer, and then
print. The printed pattern can be cut by laser cutting or manual cutting. The
disadvantage is that there are requirements for fabrics, such as mesh and other
elastic fabrics, which will produce pattern shape deformation in the process of
printing, and finally cannot be cut accurately.
