The thickness at the time of delivery is generally between 3.5-4.0mm, and it is relatively high in toughness and has a high degree of polishing. Today, it is also a formal choice for making high-grade leather goods. Rein leather is more outstanding in texture and is generally used to make a generous and concise style, so it is also used in business leather goods.

Because rein leather usually maintains toughness, we need to have very high tensile strength. Although there is relatively little oil in rein leather, we always feel that the leather will be very hard in the process of using it, and will improve after using it for a period of time. However, even so, we should not be as soft as vegetable tanned leather in the same time. In addition, rein leather will only be surface dyed, because the alcohol in the dye will continuously reduce the fiber strength of the leather. The saddle leather is a kind of Harness Leather. Compared with the rein leather, the saddle leather maintains a certain elasticity while ensuring its firmness. Because the saddle always needs to ride for a long time, it is impossible for the leather to have poor elasticity. Saddle leather is relatively thick in thickness, but the factory thickness is between 2.5-4.0mm. It is more uniform in color and better absorbed in oil. It is very suitable for making all kinds of leather products in contact with skin. Saddle leather is more similar to rein leather in style, so we can constantly determine by observing the thickness of leather. Saddle leather is relatively thinner in terms of leather material and better in terms of softness.
Compared with saddle leather, bridle leather usually doesn’t add inner lining when making large bags, but it can be polished carefully to the bed surface. There are reasons for this, because the stitches on the harness usually reduce the strength of the products, so the stitches can only be used when we have to sew. In this case, because it requires high physical strength to sew these two kinds of leather, it should be done as little as possible. Sewing is the first choice for most people. Our waxed leather belongs to harness leather, with relatively moderate thickness and unique texture. The thickness in the factory will be between 2-3.5mm. When the finished vegetable tanned leather is repeatedly waxed and made at high temperature, there will be a continuous white frost wax layer on the leather surface, which can be knocked off when we polish it with force. And waterproof sunscreen, and must have a certain anti scratch ability. The service life of finished products is relatively long, and the appearance is more hard. The leather surface under this kind of leather material is generally easy to wrinkle when sewing, so we should pay attention to the strength of the sewing.
Horse hip leather is mainly a relatively special kind of high-grade vegetable tanned leather, and only the leather of horse hip is selected for production. It is very tight in leather fiber, more delicate on leather surface, and more reflective after high polishing. For the special horse hip leather, the leather surface can be made by coating the original leather bed surface. In the front of the original leather, it focuses on the inner side of the leather. Horse hip skin is easy to be scratched, but it is also easy to be repaired. Polishing with fine cloth or fine sandpaper will make the small scratches disappear.
